No Freakin Way!!!!

So here they are, in all their glory, the first pics I've posted in so many months I almost forgot how to do it?? These are our very poor attempt at family pictures with our fam and April and Tony (sis and bro inlaw) and their bambinos. A decent photo of all the kids was impossible, blame it on the ages, so I tweaked up a picture that had me rolling and I'm going to attempt to modge podge it ala pinterest style. We will see how it works. Anyhoo, here are a few...

for my memories..........

** if there's one thing I hope my kids take away from their youth its the sense of family, belonging, spirituality, and love I experienced...nothing like it... Hold it close, love it, never let it go, it's all that matters

Fourth of July 2011

Photobucket

The parade is the tradish, and it was such a lovely day actually. We had lots of plans that were changed in favor of a more relaxing pace to the day. As much as the river called my name, we decided to eat some BBQ "shicken" with my cousin and her family then head home for naps all around. I missed the fireworks display as I had an early start the next day at five am, but the older kiddos and Desi hit them up and enjoyed them. Here are a few from our independence day celebration.

Silver and Gold

These girls are gold for sure. Friends since the late 80's, wow I'm dating us, but aren't they gorgeous and forever young =) And little Mila, well, she's some strawberry goodness, the smiliest, sweetest, happiest little redhead I've ever met... Maybe she'll rub off on Rowan =)

Christmas and Everything in Between...

We had about four different Christmas celebrations. Fun and very very busy. Jillian keeps telling me how sad she is that Christmas is over, we love the holiday and everything that goes along with it. Me, I especially love the warmth of the decor and festive feeling. I have to say however, I was pretty ready to take down our 12 foot or so tree afterwards. It was beautiful, but after awhile I started to feel claustrophobic.
