house

glad for the new season of house, i've already restarted the episode twice now due to my blog hopping. I just can't help it, I'm in my happy place. Snuggled in my dish, with my fluffy robe and blanket, laptop and remote. Favorite part of a busy day.

miss this girl

One of my best nursing school buddies, Bethany, moved to Louisiana right after graduation, to say the least I have certainly missed her... =(
Luckily she was in town for her brother's wedding over the weekend so we had a brief visit over some Tennessee Wraps at the Best Little Roadhouse, delish btw. Her hilarious husband Thomas joined us as well. It was so nice to see her. It wouldn't be a nursing school reunion of any kind without our signature kissy lips.

Even Thomas joined the fun.

summer in the 'burg

Mark's folks live down in sunny Roseburg about 5 minutes from the river. So it goes without saying we had to make a trip down to visit and float the river. Such a great time, and love love loved hanging out with my mom for a few days and staying up late visiting Saturday night. This has to become a tradition!

love me some tarjet

Little man now has his big boy bed. It's been in the works for awhile now, his only request being race cars. I would have thought cute race car bedding would have been easier to come by. I'd about given up when I happened to walk by this adorable race car/transportation themed bedding by Dwell Studios at Target the other day. Totally fit the bill, the color matched his existing room decor (poor boy, there will be a day that mom will not be able to decorate his room anymore), and it was on CLEARANCE! Think I'll pick up an extra set of sheets before they're all out. I just put the trundle on the floor for now, just in case he rolls off in the night. He couldn't be more excited.

Love Target, just perfect for the big boy bed

couldn't love him more...

Desi and I roll looking at these pictures. Love the expressive lips blasting the bad guys, the richard simmons leg warmers compliments of sister's drawers, backwards tighty whiteys, and winged out hair. How could you not adore this little man of mine?

first day

Photobucket

Jilly started Kindergarten today. Its a happy sad feeling to know your baby is growing up. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home in her fuzzy pink sleeper and now shes five. sigh...

She was a bit nervous this morning as I could tell in her somewhat far-away demeanor. She was too keyed up to pose for a picture, really, so I snapped a few in anycase.

The person most sad to leave sissy at school was Aiden. He cried when we left the parking lot and just wasn't happy until we brought her back home. So cute. \

**sorry these pics are back to normal blogger size today. Didn't have the engery to deal with slow photobucket posting, arggh! =)
