{easter eggs, cousins, and g-parents}

Saturday was a busy day around these parts, what with the sunshine and all. The kiddos and I made the treck up to P-town for my God-daughter's baptism (so sweet). Since we were in the neighborhood and Easter is next weekend (I know, I can't believe it either) Dad and Nancy invited us over for our annual Easter Egg adventures with cousin Zoe. Nancy makes THE most AMAZING sugar cookies that, lame moi forgot to take a picture of. They are so delicious and the kids love to frost (and lick) them. My dad was so amazing and just had a hoot playing with the kiddos. They especially enjoyed "driving" his pick up truck and cleaning out the back so they could play in it. My Dad was tickled to his core at how well the kids played and adored eachother. What a fun day! We then had dinner with them, Zoe's parents (my step-bro Ken and his awesome wife Kelli) and my other s-bro Sean. It was so nice to visit without a time frame and just enjoy some quality time. Where was my seet hubs, might you ask? Well, Daddy was enjoying some much deserved and needed "guy time" playing disc golf and polishing his car up. All in all such a great memory and we decided we must do it again soon!

You dad looks great. Loved seeing you two so happy with him in the truck. So sweet.

I think every grandchild must have time in the truck with grandpa. Something magical about it.
